Relic (Sona Khatchatryan, 2026)

Minas, a 10-year-old blind boy, with magical abilities to heal, struggles with his father's inability to accept him due to his disability. His only source of comfort is his grandmother, who works tirelessly to restore his sight and guide him through her love. After her death, the village priest takes Minas in, but the villagers, fearing him and blaming him for past tragedies, turn against him. Minas secretly heals a sick girl, but the priest dies the next day. At the priest’s funeral, the villagers argue about repurposing the church for personal gain, further highlighting their moral decay. Minas abandons the village leaving behind a fog. 

Together Alone (11min, Artur Sahakyan, 2025)

The short documentary shows the life of Shura and Ofelya, an old couple who have lived alone for nearly fifty years in a small house, cut off from the vast flow of the outside world. The film begins and ends in that very small house where their life passed. The story starts from the moment Ofelya is no longer alive and moves backward in time. Time plays a crucial role in the film, flowing not linearly but in a circular, sometimes even frozen manner. The house, with its worn walls, open doors, and silent objects, becomes a spatial memory — a microcosm telling how disappearance turns into existence. Shura’s present daily life and images of Ofelya’s living days merge into one universe where the past has not gone away, and the present has yet to win. The film asks: Is a person ever truly alone when living with memories, sounds, and space?
